
On May 13th, 2011, TANA held its first series of literary readings featuring the writers, Michael Luis Medrano and Tim Z. Hernandez. The reading was well attended and featured storytelling from Medrano’s collective of peotry titled “Born in the Cavity of Sunsets” and from Hernandez’s novel “Breathing, In Dust.”
Tim Z. Hernandez’s book “Breathing, In Dust” was published by Texas Tech University Press in 2010 and recently won the Premio Aztlan, a national literary award administered by the University of New Mexico.
