Save the Date (March 15th 5-8pm): Winter Open House and New Exhibition Featuring Postermakers Melanie Cervantez and Jesus Barraza of Dignidad Rebelde

Please save the date for TANA’s Winter Open House and Exhibition Opening Reception. The TANA Winter Exhibition will feature the poster making of Melanie Cervantez and Jesus Barraza. Cervantez and Barraza are a postermaking duo functioning under title of Dignidad Rebelde (http://dignidadrebelde.com).  Cervantez and Barraza are internationally prominent postermakers from Oakland who have led visual postermaking efforts for many of the recent activism taking place nationally and internationally. On March 15th from 5-8pm TANA will host the opening reception for their exhibition and the evening will feature a display of recent posters developed by community-youth during the TANA Winter Workshop along with a program of Danza Azteca, music, and food. More information will be forthcoming.
