Creative Expression through Language Arts, Cultural, and Community Studies was once again offered this summer and has now come to a close as the new academic year will soon begin. Participants this year included folks from Yolano County Housing, Beamer Elementary Scholars, and Madison Migrant Center DIAS Youth Program.
This summer we were able to engage youth ages 5-16 in:
- Move Your Body: Intro to Yoga
- Re-Education: Bilingual Poetry, Chicano Art
- Image/Self esteem building
- Mi Voz: Culture & Community
- What’s Your’story
- Veggie Print Making
